Royals visit FiberCore Europe

FiberCore Europe presented its InfraCore® bridges and FiberNose® edges at the World Future Energy Summit 2009 fair in Abu Dhabi in January. The fair focussed on sustainability and drew 150.000 visitors from 75 countries.

The United Arab Emirates showed interest in the composite bridges for Masdar, a future city in the desert where half a million people will live a sustainable life. Masdar itself will be built using sustainable techniques only.

FiberCore Europe joined the trade delegation to the Emirates led by His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander, Princess Máxima and Frank Heemskerk of the ministry of Economic Affairs. All three of them took their time at the FiberCore stand to learn about fibre-reinforced structures.
